Gogula Krishnan Saravanan is an experienced Analyst (Optimization) at PSA Singapore. He holds a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from the School of Computing, NUS, and is broadly interested in Data Science, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, and Optimization Techniques. With 3.69 years of relevant experience, Gogula has previously worked as a Machine Learning Intern at Continental's Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Lab (AIR Lab), where he worked on the Perception module for a Mobile Robot. He implemented an algorithm for depth perception from single monocular RGB images provided as input to a Reinforcement Learning-based local navigator. He also completed a literature survey on depth estimation methods from single monocular RGB images and explored deep-learning based methods for the same. He trained models such as MobileNet, ResNet50, AlexNet on NYUDepth v2 RGBD, Carla Simulator using PyTorch. Gogula has also worked as a Computer Vision Intern at Rapsodo, where he worked on a manufacturing test application for a baseball pitching monitor designed for ball detection and seam tracing. He implemented this application using OpenCV and Matlab. Gogula's education history includes a Master's degree in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence Specialization) from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Thiagarajar College.
